[November 2017] CQCC-China & Qatar Business Center Executive Director and President, at the invitation of the Qatar Government and the Chairman of the Tarabi Group, Mr. Mohamed Talabi, went to Qatar for a business visit and was ambassed by the Chinese Ambassador to Qatar. [January 2018] At the invitation of CQCC-China & Qatar Business Center, the Talabi Group, Mr. Mr. Mohamed Taleb, Chairman of the Board of Directors, came to Chengdu for business visits with the group leadership. During the visit, he visited the Director of the Chengdu Foreign Affairs Office. Through a four-day business visit, Mr. Talabi has a deeper understanding of the Chinese market and will work intensively with Chinese entrepreneurs in various fields.


[February 2018] CQCC-China & Qatar Business Center led Chinese entrepreneurs to Qatar for a six-day business trip. They came from agriculture, IT, IT, education, and health food. The visit was strongly influenced by the TALEB Group. Support, Chinese entrepreneurs have a deeper understanding of Qatar and the TALEB Group through a six-day business visit. A memorandum of cooperation was signed for some of these projects.

[April 2018] Representatives from the Ministry of National Economy of Qatar, the National Chamber of Commerce of Qatar and the Qatar Talabi Group went to Rong for a four-day business trip. During the period, they received a warm reception from the Chengdu government and visited the European Center and Tianfu Window. The Science and Technology Industrial Zone and the Belt and Road Initiative Park, CQCC-China & Qatar Business Center and the Talabi Group jointly held an entrepreneurial thank-you dinner for “Building the Belt and Road, Building the Heart of the Middle East”. More than 300 companies from all over the country attended the event and got More than 30 media support and attention.

Current achievements           

1. China Qatar B2B Infrastructure Display and Transaction Cooperation Platform (See Appendix 02 for details)          

 A. Overview of Models           

To establish a platform for exhibition and trading of China's infrastructure engineering technology services in the Middle East with Qatar as the fulcrum.          

For the 2022 World Cup, Qatar will build at least 100 more five-star hotels, including the new city of Lusail, Hamad International Airport, Doha Metro, Highway, Doha New Port, World Cup venues, Doha Light Rail, villas and apartments. In recent years, "Made in China" has gained a good reputation in the world, and has a greater competitive advantage in the field of infrastructure engineering. To this end, the company plans to build an integrated platform for exhibition and trading in the Taleb Group at Qatar Hamad National Airport (50 km from Lusail, the host city of the World Cup 2022). The platform will organize Chinese enterprises to provide high-quality related infrastructure technology, products and services, and promote "China Infrastructure" to the whole Middle East region and even the world through Hamad National Airport and  2022 World Cup become the heart of the Middle East.           

B. Progress           

"China-Qatar B2B" infrastructure platform has been supported by Qatar's relevant state departments. China Construction Group, West China Construction, West China Decoration Group, Chengdu Construction Group, China Railway 18 Bureau Group International Corporation and other large-scale infrastructure enterprises have reached the intention of cooperative construction. They arrived in Qatar on June 24 to make substantive communication for the project landing.


2. Construction of the “China·Middle East Center” Sino-Card bilateral trade platform (see attachment 03 for details)

B. Advancement

3. Panda Culture Industry (Details: Annex 04)

(2) Construction of Panda International Cultural Industry Park

The company plans to jointly build overseas Panda National Cultural Industry Park in Chengdu, China. The Industrial Park will integrate exhibitions, cultural creativity, interactive communication, leisure and entertainment, catering, shopping and accommodation. Through the organization of global panda-themed cultural and artistic activities, the park will be built to create a Chinese version of the Panda-themed Disneyland.
