Xi Jinping pointed out that in 2014, my brother and I, Amir, jointly announced the establishment of China-Card strategic partnership in Beijing and reached important consensus on developing bilateral relations. I am happy to see that with the joint efforts of both sides, these consensuses are being implemented and bring tangible benefits to the two peoples.

Xi Jinping emphasized that China is willing to strengthen communication with the Cambodian side and deepen political mutual trust. The Chinese side supports the Cambodian side to independently explore the development path in line with its national conditions, and appreciates that the Cambodian side firmly adheres to the one-China policy and thanks the Cambodian side for its firm support on China's core interests. The two sides should further develop their development strategies and jointly build the "Belt and Road". The two countries have initially formed a new cooperative pattern with oil and gas cooperation as the main axis, focusing on infrastructure construction, and finance and investment as new growth points. It is necessary to coordinate the promotion of energy, infrastructure construction, high-tech and investment in four major areas. China supports the proper settlement of differences and contradictions through political and diplomatic means within the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Arab framework, and restores unity and harmony among the Arab countries in the Gulf. China is willing to continue to play a constructive role in accordance with the wishes of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Tamim first extended his sincere New Year greetings to Xi Jinping and the Chinese people. Tamim said that the card is a strategic partner and bilateral friendly relations have developed rapidly. Qatar is full of confidence in the Chinese economy and is one of the first countries to respond to the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. It is expected to cooperate with China in a wide range of fields including energy, investment, science and technology and infrastructure construction. The performance of Chinese companies in Qatar is commendable, and Chinese companies are welcome to invest in Qatar. The Kazakh side is committed to promoting cultural, tourism and news exchanges with the Chinese side. The Kazakh side positively evaluated China's constructive stance on multilateral affairs and the Middle East and the Gulf region. It is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with China and deepen cooperation on counter-terrorism and anti-extremism.
