The launching ceremony and preview of the 2022 Qatar World Cup Themed Oil Painting Exhibition was successfully held in Chengdu

At 15:00 on September 29, the launching ceremony and preview of the 2022 Qatar World Cup Themed Oil Painting Exhibition was successfully held in Sichuan United Front Cultural Exchange Exhibition Center, Chengdu, officially starting the "Qatar World Cup Tour" of Sichuan painting works. (The official exhibition will be held for a month in downtown Doha, Qatar, where the World Cup will be held, from November 20 to December 18.) The launching ceremony and preview was hosted by Sichuan Provincial Committee of the United Front Work Department, Sichuan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the People's Government of Sichuan Province, organized by Sichuan Xinyue Art Museum and Qatar Taleb Group, co-organized by Sichuan New Social Strata Association, Luzhou Laojiao Guojiao Wine Sales Co., LTD., Sichuan Branch of AVIC Anmeng Property Insurance Co., Ltd., China Qatar Commercial Center(CQCC), Xinyue Art Network and China Qatar Commercial Service (Chengdu) Co., Ltd.

On November 21, 2022, the 22nd World Cup will officially kick off in Qatar. 32 teams from six continents will compete in eight stadiums in Qatar, bringing 64 spectacular top-class football matches to fans around the world.

The works on display in the Qatar 2022 World Cup theme art exhibition are oil paintings with the combination of realism and romanticism carefully created by the artists of Sichuan Xinyue Art Museum, closely centering on the theme of the World Cup and the national treasure images of the countries where the 32 finalists are located. The paintings incorporate the freehand techniques of Chinese painting in the creation and show the enthusiasm of the arena with oil on canvas.
